Canyon Ferry Lake - Steinmetz Outfitters The walleye action is picking up around the Silos and from Duck Creek to Pond 1 while usingcrankbaits or bottom bouncers with a worm. There is sizable rainbow trout in Holter Lake. Sparkle Minnows, Kreelexes, Mini Dungeons, and Thin Mints/Buggers are all good to carry on the water. March browns have been showing up most afternoons if its not too windy. We have the boat available to rent on weekends and I do have crawlers, frozen bait, and a small assortment of tackle and rods. The water clarity is getting better, but not perfect. Canyon Ferry: Rainbow trout fishing on the north end of the reservoir is great from shore as they are cruising the shorelines.
